Southwest Atlanta Intersection Crash Causes Multiple Injuries

Eyewitnesses were rattled to the core by a major Southwest Atlanta intersection crash which resulted in severe injuries to the driver and some pedestrians. The emergency troops were contacted right away.

Two vehicles had crashed into each other, both vehicles endured severe damages. Plus, some nearby pedestrians also suffered from injuries during the collision.

The major car crash was recorded before 11:30 A.M. at University Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway, Atlanta according to the troopers in the nearby areas. No major information regarding the type and number of the vehicles involved in the accident was disclosed.

A truck driver was driving while neglecting the traffic regulations, speeding up on the South-west Atlanta Intersection. The driver lost control of the vehicle and left the road, collapsing with another car and pedestrians nearby.

The drivers of both cars and the pedestrian were badly injured and had to be immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Atlanta police are still deep in an investigation regarding the main reason behind the Southwest Atlanta intersection crash (i.e. possibly some other factors may also have played a part). The officers didn’t mention anyone getting charged. But still, a detailed investigation was underway for which the busy intersection got sealed for people use.

The intersection was closed for several hours as police investigated the crash. According to the information provided by the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center, the SW Atlanta Intersection road reopened before 5 P.M., but traffic suspensions remained for a while.

If you or someone near you gets caught up in such on-road incidents, where the other party doesn’t carry out their duty properly, you should look for counseling from a Georgia auto accident attorney to get started with legal actions.
